JOB SUMMARY

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of individuals in care homes and home care settings. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with daily living activities, ensuring that clients receive the highest level of care and support. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to implement care plans and provide compassionate assistance tailored to each individual’s needs.

SKILLS

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Help in the preparation of meals and assist clients during mealtimes.
  • Maintain accurate records of client care and progress in accordance with care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their comfort and safety during transport.
