JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in a care home or home care setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will assist with daily living activities and contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, while fostering a positive environment for our residents.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills in English are necessary for effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
  • Experience in developing or following care plans is beneficial.
  • A genuine drive to improve the quality of life for individuals in your care is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on patient status.
