We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents in our care home, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans meticulously while working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

SKILLS

• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents and team members.
• Ability to drive is essential for transporting residents when necessary.
• Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining records and communicating care plans efficiently.
• Experience in home care or care home settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is crucial for success in this role.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Maintain accurate records of residents’ progress and any changes in their condition.
• Drive residents to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
• Participate in training sessions and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge related to healthcare practices.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation within the care home environment.
