Description

The main duties are:

  • Assist service users with personal care including washing, dressing and undressing, as per care plan
  • Training to administer medication to service users
  • Provide all assistance in accordance with service users dietary and fluid intake, and report changes to senior staff as necessary
  • Record all care provided in appropriate documentation and inform senior staff of any changes to health status
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times, both in and out of work
  • Act in accordance with service users care plans
  • Report all suspected and actual incidents in according with the Organisation’s Whistle Blowing policy
  • Other duties as required at the direction of the Registered Manager

Job Purpose:
To assist service users with all aspects of daily living

To maintain service user’s personal, physical and intellectual independence
