We’re growing our care team in County Durham and are looking for caring, reliable people who want a rewarding role where they can truly help others.

What You’ll Do

• Support service users to remain independent at home
• Assist with personal care (bathing, continence care, pad changes)
• Provide basic domestic support to maintain a safe home environment
• Prepare meals, snacks and drinks
• Communicate clearly with service users, families and professionals
• Report any concerns regarding wellbeing or safety

Responsibilities for the role required are:

• Promote independence, caring for the service users within their own home.
• Assist in the support of personal care tasks; bathing, continence care, pad changes.
• Maintain a safe, enjoyable home environment for the service users by assisting with basic domestic tasks.
• Preparing meals, snacks and drinks to help sustain the service users nutrition and hydration needs.
• Communicate effectively with service user, next of kins and other medical professionals to ensure a high quality service to all.
• Identify and report any concerns in relation to a service users safety, wellbeing and welfare.
