JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. SKILLS

• Proficient in English with strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents and team members.
• Experience or understanding of working within a care home or home care setting is advantageous.
• Ability to follow care plans meticulously while demonstrating empathy and patience.
• Basic IT skills for maintaining records and using electronic health systems where applicable.

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Support individuals in following their personalised care plans, ensuring their needs are met.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing staff.
• Foster a supportive and friendly atmosphere by engaging residents in conversation and activities.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety within the care environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Drive to various locations as required for home care visits, ensuring timely arrival at appointments.
