JOB DESCRIPTION: HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT

We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Health Care Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care for residents in our 22-bed residential home. This role involves ensuring high standards of care, managing day-to-day responsibilities, and supporting the well-being of residents.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Health and Social Care is essential.
• Willingness to undergo training, including Manual Handling, First Aid, and Health & Safety.
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Satisfactory DBS Check (police check).
• Ability to commute to Liverpool

• Provide compassionate and attentive care to our service users under the guidance and supervision of the Team Leader and Home Manager.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal assistance, social interaction and activities.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for service users and staff.
• Follow care plans tailored to individual needs and preferences.
• Work collaboratively with the care team and communicate effectively with colleagues, residents, and their families.
• Ensure all care is delivered in line with our professional standards and regulatory requirements.
