JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in a home care or care home environment, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will assist with daily living activities, implement care plans, and communicate effectively with both patients and healthcare professionals. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between care locations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in home care or a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between client homes.
  • Familiarity with creating and following care plans is advantageous.
  • A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.

  • Drive to various locations as required to provide home care services.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare staff to ensure a high standard of care is maintained.
  • Utilise IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes.
