JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including care homes and home care environments. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with daily living activities, ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of care while promoting their independence and well-being.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills in English are required to interact effectively with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
  • A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting patients when necessary.
  • Understanding of basic IT skills for record keeping and communication is desirable.
  • A caring attitude with a genuine interest in providing high-quality patient care is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development and implementation of individual care plans.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patients’ conditions to the appropriate healthcare staff.
  • Drive patients to appointments or social activities as needed.
