We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our Care Home team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. The ideal candidate will have a caring nature, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting the overall wellbeing of the care home community. The hourly pay rate for this position will be $12.30 to $12.45.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, ideally in a care home, hospital, or hospitality setting.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills to interact with staff and residents.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

• Ensure all rooms, common areas, and facilities are cleaned to a high standard.
• Carry out regular cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
• Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, ironing, and distributing clean items.
• Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and report when replenishment is needed.
• Adhere to hygiene, infection control, and safety protocols at all times.
• Provide a supportive and respectful environment for residents while carrying out duties.
• Report any maintenance issues or concerns promptly to management.
