We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic team. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred; hospital experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic life support techniques.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems for efficient patient documentation.
  • Understanding of vital signs monitoring and medication administration protocols.
  • Experience working in urgent care or trauma centers (Level I or II) is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on patient service excellence.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient intake and assessment processes.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation in EHR systems.
  • Provide direct patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and assist with treatment plans.
  • Support dermatology, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and surgical procedures as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care and treatment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist in patient assessments.
  • Perform ICD coding for accurate medical record keeping.
  • Engage with patients in geriatric care, medical-surgical units, PICU, or OR settings as required.
