JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidates will provide essential support to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while fostering a positive environment for our clients.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is welcome but absolutely not essential.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to work independently.
  • A caring attitude with a commitment to delivering consistently excellent care to our residents.
  • Keen to learn, to grow and develop, prepared to challenge the ’norm’ and poor practice, and want to achieve more, and better.
  • Reliability, commitment, dedication.
  • Having a fun and cheery personality with a sense of humour is a good thing too! Be a nice person…simples.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity while providing companionship.
  • Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
  • Support residents with appointments or social activities as required.
