LEADERSHIP & STAFF MANAGEMENT

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in healthcare management, business administration, or related field (desirable).
  • Previous experience as a practice manager or in healthcare administration/management.
  • Knowledge of CQC compliance and healthcare governance standards.
  • Proficiency in healthcare IT systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Health Care Practice Manager is responsible for the effective leadership, operational management, and business performance of the healthcare practice. They ensure the smooth running of day-to-day services, compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., CQC), efficient use of resources, high-quality patient care, and support for clinicians and staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT

  • Oversee the daily running of the practice, ensuring smooth delivery of clinical and administrative services.
  • Ability to manage, interpret, and analyse healthcare and business data to support decision-making and performance improvement.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in data management and analysis
  • Manage patient flow, appointment systems, and resource allocation.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the practice remains compliant with Care Quality Commission (CQC) and other statutory requirements.
