Health Care Support Worker –SCS Physiotherapy - Band 3.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our friendly and busy community Paediatric Physiotherapy team covering the North West sector of Glasgow.
The key role of our service is to offer assessment, management and therapeutic intervention to children with a neurological and/or sensory condition.
Under the supervision of a registered Physiotherapist you will be expected to implement and co-ordinate prescribed care programs, to provide an electronic record of your work, to assist in group treatment session, to work alone, to tend to agreed administrative and housekeeping duties within the department and clinical areas.
You will be expected to work in a variety of setting including clinics, homes, nurseries and schools. This is a physical job and practical skills are expected and will be assessed at interview.
You do not need a specific qualification but experience in working with children and their families and back ground knowledge of Physiotherapy is preferred. We are looking for a candidate, who is motivated, flexible, can work alone and within the multidisciplinary team.
In return for your commitment and hard work you will be offered support and training to develop your knowledge and skills from our friendly team, you will be given regular one to one supervision and review.
As this post is community based a UK driving license and access to a car are essential. This post is subject to enhanced Disclosure Scotland check.
