Experience of working as part of a team in mental health setting

Experience working in acute inpatient mental health setting and or community setting.
We are looking for individuals with genuine interest in Mental Health who are motivated, dynamic and forward thinking to work at Oaklands ward as a Healthcare Assistant. Applicants need to be enthusiastic with a non-judgmental approach and a caring attitude. People with good communication skills and a sense of humour who enjoy working as part of a team are required to provide the best possible care in a changing and challenging environment.
Applicants need to be committed to maintaining and improving service user centred care to the highest standards. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with an ability to demonstrate good communication skills and team working abilities. In return you will benefit from working in a therapeutic environment conducive to the treatment and recovery of people with acute functional mental health problems. All your skills and life experience will be fully utilised and developed through clinical supervision and training opportunities.

We currently work a Long Day shift pattern on the ward, this includes weekends and night shifts.
