Main Purpose of the Role
To work as part of the multi-disciplinary team at The Harefield Practice, supporting patients and clinicians by delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out phlebotomy, ECGs, blood pressure monitoring, and general health checks
  • Support vaccination and immunisation programmes
  • Assist with chronic disease monitoring and minor clinical procedures
  • Promote healthy lifestyles (e.g. smoking cessation, weight management, wellbeing advice)
  • Provide clinical support to GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Accurately update and maintain patient records in line with practice policies
  • Work within guidelines and protocols to ensure patient safety and continuity of care

Personal Development

  • Take part in annual appraisals and professional development opportunities
  • Work under supervision of registered clinicians while developing skills

Other Information

  • Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week (flexible working considered)
  • Salary: £24,000 – £31,500 per annum (pro rata, depending on experience)
  • Contract: Permanent / Fixed Term
  • Pension: NEST Pension Scheme
