We are seeking a compassionate Care Worker to join our team in providing exceptional care to individuals in a care home setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting seniors and vulnerable individuals in a caring and respectful manner.
Responsibilities
- Document individual care plans based on residents’ needs
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and mobility
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Monitor and record residents’ health status and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
Experience
- Previous experience in a care home, assisted living facility, or similar setting is desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Understanding of the needs of elderly or vulnerable individuals
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
