Health Center Driver DEPARTMENT: Health Center, Campus Safety REPORTS TO: Director of Health Services AVAILABILITY: Weekdays 11am – 6pm (hourly rate, benefit eligible) Position Requirements: The duties and responsibilities of a Health Center Driver include, but are not limited to: * Safely drive students to off campus medical appointments in the School’s sedans, SUV’s and minibuses. * Assist injured students in and out of vehicles and medical facilities as needed. * Transport students to emergency room and remain with them until another adult arrives. * Drive to local pharmacy to pick up medications when needed. * Complete driver inspections periodically. * Add fuel to fleet vehicles as necessary. * Use computers and mobile devices to send and receive email and other correspondence related to scheduling of Health Center driving appointments. * Use workstation computer to log driving records and assist with School car reservations. * Perform daily tasks for Health Center and Campus Safety as needed. * Communicate and coordinate effectively with Health Center & Campus Safety personnel, faculty, staff, students and parents. MINIMUM DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:      * High School diploma * Minimum of 5 years of driving experience * Hold and maintain a valid Connecticut Motor Vehicle Operator's License, proper insurance and a good driving record satisfactory to the School * Hold and/or obtain and maintain an “S”, “V” or “A” Connecticut Driver’s license endorsement, valid medical certificate and have the ability pass quarterly drug testing that includes testing for Marijuana * Knowledge of School regulations regarding student conduct; laws pertaining to juveniles.
