JOB VACANCY AT VILLAGE FARM HEALTH CLUB

Job description.
A vacancy has arisen for a part time Health Club Assistant. The hours would be 15 per week.
This position involves a wide variety of tasks and requires a high degree of flexibility and willingness to adapt and use one’s initiative.
When on duty one is the “face” of the Health Club, meeting and greeting members and all visitors to the Club, and those coming on holiday to Village Farm.
There is only one member of staff on duty at any time so you will be required to help those using the gym and be a “presence” throughout the Gym, Spa and Pool areas, always keeping them clean and tidy.
You will be required to maintain chemical levels in the pool and spa and also to check the hot tubs at 3 holiday cottages.
You may be required to meet holiday makers and direct them to their cottages and assist them in other ways.
Requirements.
You must be friendly, cheerful, approachable, with a positive attitude, and be able to communicate with people of all ages.
You must be flexible and co-operative about working hours. Some weekends, bank holidays and evenings will be required.
You will need to have basic computer skills.
A driving licence is essential.
You will need to be willing to undertake a wide variety of tasks.
Desirable but non-essential skills.
Gym qualification
Ability to swim

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.85 per hour
