Job Description
Starting Rate of Pay: $16.99/hr CAD

Fostering the health, safety and wellbeing of our guests, visitors and colleagues is an integral part of our Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge’s culture, the thoughtful attention you provide as a Health Club Attendant will make them feel welcome and valued. In this role you will support the hotel by:

  • Conduct History tours, nature walks, hikes, bike rides, and boat tours as necessary
  • Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions
  • Maintain cleanliness of Pool, Kids, and camp JPL, Health Club, Recreation areas including Thermal facilities, Change Rooms, and the Boathouse (Seasonal); follow the daily checklists.
  • Responsible for float and management of all revenues during shift from rentals of equipment and sales of merchandise
  • First responder for water rescues when necessary using motorized rescue boat (Seasonal)
  • Ensure proper and timely recording of all Pool readings

Qualifications

YOUR SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with outdoor activities – kayaking, canoeing, biking, and hiking required
  • Experience with children in a day camp environment required
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification required.
  • Pleasure Craft Operators Card required
  • Pro Serve certification required
    Additional Information
    Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
