We are seeking a dedicated, community-focused individual to join our Community Health and Wellbeing Team as a Health Coach.

THE ROLE:

You will deliver a range of activities to help increase physical activity levels of the local community and will work with a wide variety of individuals to motivate and make positive change to individuals lives.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

A hands-on role that requires you to:

  • Assist with the daily operations of the Wellbeing Hub, ensuring the space is welcoming, organised, and functional for clients, partners, and staff.
  • Help with scheduling, bookings, client queries, and gathering feedback to improve the overall experience.
  • Facilitate and lead group classes and workshops, including fitness and wellbeing sessions, tailored to client needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including healthcare providers, local businesses, and community organisations, to enhance the services offered. Provide one-to-one coaching, helping clients with goal-setting, tracking progress, and offering guidance on lifestyle changes and nutrition.
  • Assist with participant registrations, track attendance, and maintain records of participant progress, health assessments, and feedback for various health initiatives.
  • Communicate with participants to schedule sessions, send reminders, and respond to enquiries.
  • Assist with the setup, facilitation, and delivery of community health initiative sessions, offering guidance and motivation to participants.
  • Support the team in monitoring and assessing participant progress, providing feedback, and ensuring a positive, supportive environment.
  • Collect participant feedback to improve the effectiveness of these initiatives.
