COMPENSATION $108,443.83 to $119,288.22 (EG: 4) - the rates are subject to education, experience, and/or a combination of both.
STATUS 1 - Fulltime Permanent - 35-hours per week
Malahat Nation represents approximately 350+ members with two reserve lands located on the western shore of Saanich Inlet, south of the village of Mill Bay, about 40 kilometres north of Victoria, British Columbia. Malahat Health operates in a new building with a dedicated team to provide physical and mental health services to community members. PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the Director of Health is responsible for the administration of the Malahat Nation Health Department and Malahat Nation Health Centre, including daily operations, fiscal oversight, and providing leadership to health professionals (full-time, part-time and on contract for services). The incumbent is responsible for implementing trauma-informed and culturally safe health services, including community health and primary care, while aligning policies and procedures with Malahat strategic goals and program objectives. This position is fulltime permanent position and will require work in the office, as well as moderate local travel, with some ability to work remotely.
