The Floating Hospital is a Federally Qualified Health Center and the largest provider to homeless families living in family shelters and domestic violence safe houses throughout all five boroughs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Keep health education data tracking organized and up to date Compile data for reporting purposes on a monthly basis Take notes for all weekly health education meetings Inventory and complete in-kind donation forms for all donations received by the health education department Organize, track, and scan health education credit card and petty cash receipts Aid in the organization of health education camp forms and applications Keep inventory of health education and early education supplies and update our purchasing list Aid in the scheduling of school and community workshops Prepare, send and follow-up on all workshop invoices Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Health Education The Health Education Administrative Assistant will participate as a member of a group of professionals, dedicated to delivering comprehensive, holistic health education services to at-risk children, adolescents and the community. Requirements • Highly organized and self-motivated • Detail-oriented • Skilled in time management and prioritization • Proficient in all Microsoft Office and Google applications • Possess a high school diploma, college preferred • Prior administrative and purchasing experience required • Be welcoming and professional, and have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
