Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health. Responsibilities Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates Training Center BCLS, ACLS, and PALS programs. Develops course objectives and maintains course outlines and appropriate records. Recruits and evaluates instructional personnel. Maintains strong relationships and open communication lines with area services, health facilities, and agencies served by the Health Education Center. Maintains appropriate records and initiates and processes all forms necessary to function and meet national, state, and local regulations and requirements. Contributes to the annual budget process of the Health Education Center and operates within the budget's constraints. Promotes and supports the Health Education Center and its growth in all settings. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma is required. Associate's degree in nursing is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paramedic or RN is required. License(s)/Certification(s): Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor (ACLSI) Basic Life Support (BCLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Basic Life Support Instructor (BSCLSI)
Responsibilities
The coordinator plans, implements, and evaluates BCLS, ACLS, and PALS training programs while maintaining records and regulatory compliance. They also build community partnerships and manage the Health Education Center's budget and growth.
