The Position: We're looking for a Health Information Assistant who strives to provide operational excellence and genuine care in a team environment. Our Health Information Management (HIM) Department is primarily responsible for: * Patient health records and ensure that needed health information is complete, accurate and available to legitimate users. * Protect patient privacy, provide information security, comply with standards and regulations regarding health information and administer health information computer systems. Requirements: * Minimum of 1 year in health information experience, in any healthcare setting. * Knowledge of ICD-10 and medical terminology. * Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred, but not required.
