We’re seeking a detail-oriented and organized Health Information Management (HIM) Clerk to support our mission by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of patient health records. About the Role The HIM Clerk is responsible for collecting, processing, and maintaining, patient health information in both electronic and paper formats. This role plays a vital part in safeguarding patient confidentiality while ensuring timely and accurate access to records for authorized users. Key Responsibilities Compile, organize, and maintain patient medical records, both digital and physical. Review charts for completeness and accuracy, making sure all necessary information is present and correctly recorded. Safeguard patient information and adhere to all privacy laws, such as HIPPA Accurately enter and maintain data in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Maintain working knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, medications, and immunizations.
