Welcoming people from a wide variety of different backgrounds and experiences is critical to fostering innovation, cultivating compassion, attracting and retaining top talent and providing the best possible cancer care for our patients.   YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE   HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGERS / CLINICAL CODERS - Multiple Opportunities Available !   2x Ongoing, part-time positions available (2.5 - 3 days per week) Health Information Manager (Grade 1 to 2) - FTE $70,590.00 to $103,724.40 AUD p.a. depending on qualifications and experience 1x Fixed-term, part-time position available (4 days per week, backfill) Health Information Manager (Grade 2 to 3) - FTE $90,235.6 to $118,981.2 AUD p.a. depending on qualifications and experience Attractive salary packaging opportunities are available   About the role   As a member of the Health Information Management led Coding Services team, you will primarily be responsible for the accurate and timely coding of patient records utilising ICD-10-AM, the Department of Health Admission Criteria requirements, and the Australian Coding Standards (ACS).   In addition to this important task, you will be offered opportunities to work with clinical & research champions working with health data, as well as utilising your knowledge and skills in conducting audits, education and clinical documentation activities related to health information data.   All members of the clinical coding team are set up to work from home once internal training is completed, and all staff work a hybrid of on site and at home hours.   All clinical coding is conducted exclusively using our Epic Electronic Medical Record, which is a shared record across the four Parkville Precinct health services.
