Description
The Health Information Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of complex projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:       1. Obtain expert level of knowledge on Streamline SmartCare EHR.       2. Provide technical and program support for the EHR. 3. Oversee report generation and dissemination to each department. 4. Oversee generation of the monthly billing reports and submit them to the Center’s billing company. 5. Ongoing risk review and analysis. 6. Optimization of EHR utilization and workflows. 7. Manage all aspects of the Clinical Records Department. * Records retention/storage/disposal * Supervision of staff * Oversee Clinical Records Committee 8. Analyze and verifies the completeness of the EHR. 9. Stays up to date on Coding and Billing changes. 10. Completes work related trainings timely as assigned or requested. (I.e., Relias, Risk Management, PSO, DCS, etc.) 11. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS:      1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field       2. Experience: Two years of Healthcare Technology experience. EHR experience with direct clinical experience. Training and Customer Service experience.                 Experience with Microsoft Office Programs. Software implementation, Multiple EMR Systems. Medical records/abstraction, Reports      3.
