OVERVIEW

The mission of NorthPoint HealthWellness Center (NorthPoint) is to create a healthier community. Three pillars provide the foundation for serving the North Minneapolis community: Whole-Person Integrated Care, Building Community Well-Being, and Health Equity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED plus 5 years of experience in human services, or associate’s degree in public health or a related field, with 4 years related experience. Bachelor’s degree in public health, preferred.
  • Familiarity with the focus area and community; ability to communicate and partner effectively with the population of focus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience coordinating community-based outreach projects and activities.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, analytical, relationship building and communication skills working within a multi-cultural environment and with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain internal and external partnerships and networks that support the mission, vision, values, and goals of the organization.
  • Demonstrate experience managing projects from initiation to completion, including planning, coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of outcomes.
  • Experience planning and implementing community-based events and initiatives.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and computer tracking databases.
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record, proof of insurance, reliable vehicle and the ability to meet NorthPoint’s driving requirements.
