HEALTH INSURANCE TRAINING SPECIALIST

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Health Insurance Training Specialist to develop, implement, and conduct training programs for our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for educating professionals on insurance products, sales strategies, and regulatory compliance.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (preferred).
  • State of Wisconsin Health Insurance License.
  • Proven experience in health insurance sales, training, or education.
  • Strong understanding of health insurance products, industry regulations, and sales best practices, including Medicare, ACA, short-term, and ancillary products.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex information and tailor training to various skill levels.
  • Proficient in using industry-related software including customer relationship manager (CRM) and Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with the team.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs for team members, focusing on products, policies, regulations, and sales techniques.
  • Conduct workshops, seminars, and one-on-one coaching sessions to enhance advisor knowledge and performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive products to ensure relevant and compliant training content.
  • Assess training needs and develop customized learning modules to address skill gaps.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance tracking.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to new and existing team members to improve client engagement and retention.
  • Maintain training records, reports, and documentation following company policies and regulatory requirements.
