REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • At least 5 years’ experience using NextGen EHR, Practice Management (PM), and Electronic Data Records (EDR).
  • NextGen Certification is mandatory.
  • Experience with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards.
  • Over 5 years’ experience working with healthcare-specific data interface standards and health information exchange technologies.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and reporting.
  • Experience with Crystal Reports, eMAR, Mirth, PACS, CIPS/Fusion, or Merge systems.
  • Familiarity with HL7 messaging standards.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of the Health-IT industry, including multi-tiered architectures, enterprise applications, emerging technologies, networks, data management systems, enterprise security, and hardware systems related to Electronic Health Records (EHR), Health Information Exchanges (HIE), and Electronic Medication Administration Records (eMAR).
  • Plan, organize, direct, and review the work of technical personnel to ensure high-quality project delivery.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, technical teams, management, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Apply principles and techniques of program and work activity planning within a technical environment to achieve operational goals.
