Description

We're Tasmanian, and we're here for Tasmania.

For more than 70 years, St Lukes has been part of the Tasmanian story. While a lot has changed over that time, our focus remains the same: helping Tasmanians live healthier lives.

Today, that means investing in our people, supporting communities, and finding new ways to make a positive impact across the state. We're looking for people who want to be part of that journey.

When you join St Lukes, you'll be joining a purpose-driven organisation where your contribution can make a meaningful difference.

The Role

As our Health Policy and Insights Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role by leveraging your expertise in health systems, research, and data analytics, generating actionable insights and strategic advice that inform programs, products, and policies. Your work will guide our advocacy efforts and ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and consumer-centred health services.

Working within our Health Services team, you’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify systemic challenges, uncover opportunities for impact, and provide health policy advice as we strive toward our ambitious goal.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in health research, data analytics, and generating health insights.
  • Strong systems thinking, pattern recognition, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of Tasmania’s health ecosystem
  • A passion for driving innovation and making a real difference in health outcomes.
  • Outcome-focused mindset with a commitment to putting members at the centre of everything we do.
  • Strong capability with digital tools and technologies used in health insights and analytics.

What we Offer

  • Opportunities for career progression and professional development.
  • Excellent employee benefits and discounts.
  • Opportunity to purchase additional annual leave.
  • Paid parental leave and 9-day fortnight policies
  • Social events, milestone, achievement, and birthday celebrations.
  • The opportunity to work out of the most sustainable and carbon positive office development in Tasmania.
  • Award winning Learning and Development culture
