Healthy Lifestyles Australia has provided Dietetic/Nutrition, Exercise Physiology and Diabetes Education services in Queensland for the past 17 years, currently servicing more than 120 rural and metropolitan medical centres and facilities. We specialize in chronic disease management and prevention, however, can assist in a wide variety of cases (e.g. sports performance, aged care consultation, insurance, public speaking, exercise group classes, etc). Our mission is to promote healthy lifestyles in the Australian population and to prevent and manage chronic disease through physical activity and nutrition.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and enthusiastic Receptionist to become a part of a proactive company. You will be providing high quality reception and secretarial and administrative services to the patients, and staff of Healthy Lifestyles Australia.
You will be required to work across both our Head Office in Lowood and our Toowoomba Office on a part-time or full-time basis (3-5 days per week). Travel between these locations is an essential aspect of the role, and access to a reliable vehicle is necessary. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to accommodate schedule changes and work across multiple locations. There is opportunity available for the right candidate to grow into a full-time position.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Answer the phone in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Make appointments for clients via our online booking system (Coreplus).
  • Data input into computer systems.
  • Liaise with patients, families, Support Coordinators, GPs, serviced surgeries, and other health professionals.
  • Support allied health staff of HLA in an administrative capacity.
    PLEASE NOTE: This is a fast-paced reception environment that makes and receives a large volume of calls each day. You must be comfortable and willing to answer and talk on the phone to book patients in and assist with their enquiries.
