Groundworks (Durham) Ltd require a Health and Safety Advisor to work from our head office in Durham.
We are a civil engineering and bulk earthworks subcontractor operating predominantly on sites in the Northeast area and are looking for an ideal candidate to join our SHEQ Department.

• To assist the SHEQ Manager with day-to-day management of the H&S department.
• Provide H&S advice to staff, sub-contractors, and stakeholders.
• Carry out daily site audits, inspections, and toolbox talks.
• Support the development and implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and systems.
• Undertake accident / incident / near miss investigations and produce relevant reports.
• Produce reports from daily site audits for SHEQ Manager, senior management, and clients.
• Assist the SHEQ Manager when required in all manners relating to Health, Safety, or environmental implications for the company.
• Liaise with subcontractors and clients on site.
• Produce reports as required by the SHEQ Manager and the company Directors.
• Support operations and external quality audits.
• Attend client and stakeholder meetings when required.
• Any other duties deemed commensurate to the post.
