Job Description We’re looking for a motivated and solutions‑focused Health & Safety Advisor to join our Auckland team. In this role, you’ll support both the Occupier Services (OS) and Real Estate Management Services (REMS) divisions, helping embed strong safety practices across a wide range of commercial, industrial, and retail environments. You'll be the go‑to expert for safety systems, supplier compliance, audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives that make a real difference. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, building relationships, and influencing safe behaviors across multiple stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead and enhance health & safety frameworks by refining and implementing policies, processes, and compliance systems across both divisions. Support risk, incident, and compliance management, including investigations, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee supplier and contractor safety performance through audits, pre‑qualification checks, KPI monitoring, and Service Hub assurance. Conduct site inspections and project H&S audits, ensuring safe work practices, effective hazard controls, and correct permit‑to‑work processes. Review technical safety documentation (JSA, SWMS, HITRA) and provide expert training, coaching, and advice to internal teams and suppliers. Champion safety engagement and systems, representing OS/REMS in H&S forums, staying ahead of legislative changes, and optimising platforms like Urbanise and Forsite. Contribution to Real Estate Management Services and Occupier Services H&S committee meetings. Qualifications The value you’ll add 3+ years’ experience in a health & safety role Level 4 NZQA Safety qualification (or equivalent) Membership with a recognised H&S body (NZISM, HASANZ, etc.) Strong working knowledge of relevant NZ legislation and safety frameworks (ISO 45001, AS/NZS 4801) Incident investigation experience Great communication skills and the ability to build relationships with all personality types Strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and a proactive mindset Confidence with systems, databases, and reporting Full NZ driver’s license and willingness to travel around NZ What we offer We’re proud to be recognised as a 2025 finalist in the Best Places to Work awards, reflecting our commitment to creating an exceptional workplace culture.
