Description

You’ll monitor direct employees and sub-contractors through site inspections and management audits. You’ll advise on specialist areas like risk assessments, fire safety, CDM regulations, hazardous substances, noise, and machinery. Your expertise will help our operational and management teams maintain and develop our systems and practices.

You’ll liaise with external bodies, including the Health and Safety Executive, clients, and other stakeholders, as directed by the SHEQ Manager. Supporting incident management and investigation processes will be a key part of your role.

  • NEBOSH General or Construction certificate, with knowledge and experience of CDM Regulations.
  • Previous experience as a Safety Advisor in a construction environment (Utilities experience desirable)
  • Environmental Qualifications – desirable
  • Consistently demonstrate high standards of safety behaviour, leading by example and promoting a positive safety culture with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Ability to manage potential conflict during site inspections with operational teams
  • Capable of delivering confident articulate presentations with proficiency in using Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
