Health, Safety, Environment Specialist/Lead Company Description WB Melback Corporation is a wholly Canadian owned company with headquarters based in Haileybury, Ontario with job sites all over the country. WB Melback Corporation provides Mechanical Maintenance and Industrial Construction Services to Forestry and Mining sectors across Canada. Responsibilities: Help keep personnel and contractors safe, while keeping our environment safe. Ensure our workplace is safe, healthy, and free of risks to the environment and the community. Help us build a risk-aware, safety-focused culture that serves our customers and our community with excellence. Ensure our company and all of our job sites are in compliance with local and federal regulations. Identify and assess risks on our job sites, and develop plans to mitigate and eliminate those risks. Provide support to the Health and Safety Manager. Knowledge of construction management methods, processes, and best practices. Computer experience including Excel Spreadsheet and Microsoft Word. Performing other related duties as assigned.
