Description
We are looking for a talented Health, Safety and Environmental Technician to join our team specializing in Health and Safety for our Accelera Business in the Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. This is a 12 month contract role. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: * Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. * Promote a proactive safety culture by identifying hazards, applying risk assessments, and encouraging safe behaviors across teams. * Assist in incident reporting, investigations, and root cause analysis to help prevent recurrence and strengthen corrective actions. * Contribute to HSE inspections and audit programs, helping identify gaps and supporting timely closure of corrective and preventive actions. * Maintain accurate and confidential HSE records in line with data protection and retention standards. * Analyze HSE data and trends to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives. * Support environmental management activities and sustainability initiatives within the site or function. * Lead hazard identification, environmental aspect identification and risk assessment programs to proactively identify gaps and improvement opportunities. * Communicate effectively with stakeholders to raise HSE awareness, support engagement initiatives, and drive an interdependent safety culture.  Cummins is an equal opportunity employer.
