Canada Clean Fuels is currently hiring A Health, Safety and Technology Coordinator based out of our Chesswood location.

Responsibilities

· Perform Fuel Tech observations using an electronic form to make sure all PPE, safety regulations and CCF policies and procedures are followed. Provide coaching when infraction observed. Travelling to outside locations will be required multiple times per month.
· Use of Fleet Complete/Big Road GPS system to track where Fuel Techs are so that audits can be performed on Fuel Tech’s and their ELD Compliance. Maintain and assist with FT scorecard.
· Assist the department with pre-hire potential candidates performing in cab driver observations.
· Develop relationships with FTs throughout the whole network, be proactive to assist in coaching when FT is not in compliance.
· Attend area monthly FT safety meetings to obtain and present feedback to Fuel Techs and management on safety performance.
· Work with other regions to provide support when needed.
· Assist Health, Safety and Compliance Manager with any or all investigations.
· Completes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by Management.
· Manage the equipment locker inventory.
· Identify the main offenders (FTs that are the most out of compliance with Geotab Octane Variance, Self-Dispatching, Pre-Trips and Post-trips)
· Review planned vs Actual results in VRO folder - pick one or two routes each day and look at plan vs actual
· Coach and train handful of FTs daily Mon-Fri for FTs network wide
· Use the tracker that was developed - insert the names of the FT identified in the daily analytics reports
· Identify where they were not in compliance and what the actions are needed to coach them.
· Note in the tracker the corrective action that was taken to coach the FT
· Go out to the location to train when needed (if there is a trend in non-compliance by terminal) and do ride alongs as necessary.
· Be a part of driver meetings and proactively train our other trainers on the use of handheld technology in our trucks .
· Weekly review dash cams, to identify learning and near misses.
· Conduct monthly workplace inspection with H&S manager.
· Conduct onboarding of new hire, with the required trainings and presentation.
· Liaise with billing team to identify gaps in procedural compliance and rectify trips/batches.
· Liaise with LC’s and billing to investigate and rectify customer complaints.
· Assist billing with month end closing.
· Troubleshoot and repair of in cab equipment.
· Manage assets on Geotab and relocate/reassign as required.
· Daily carry out necessary actions for batch checks on CCF Webapps.
· Troubleshooting and assisting FT’s with in-cab malfunctions.
· Liaise with Octane contact in monthly clean-ups and updates.
· Assisting Sales reps with site visits and setting up new accounts, including site-maps, procedures and FT trainings.
Responsibilities:
· Develop an expertise in the in-cab tech used in our trucks.
· Responsible to show continuous improvement in the daily analytics reporting by executing diligently on duties outlined above (1-6 bullet points)
· Reducing the non-compliance in the reports noted above in points 3 and 4
· Results to be reported in the reporting noted under duties (point 2)
