QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 GCSEs grade 9–4 (A*–C) in English and Maths or equivalent
  • IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH National General Certificate (or working towards)
  • Affiliate or Technical IOSH membership (desirable)

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Experience supporting HSW policy, projects, metrics, and casework
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills under competing deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Confident in IT systems including Excel, Microsoft 365, SharePoint
  • Ability to interpret legislation, manage systems and provide accurate advice

WHAT’S INVOLVED WITH THIS ROLE:

Support the delivery of the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Strategy by providing technical, coordination and project support. Act as a key contact for advice, manage systems, monitor incident reports, and help drive a strong HSW culture across the organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver HSW projects, monitor incident reporting systems, and support audits
  • Coordinate and maintain the SHE Assure system as first point of contact
  • Analyse HSW data, theme reports, and support casework and documentation
  • Manage the HSW mailbox and triage enquiries across the team
  • Maintain records, update internal staff platforms, and contribute to guidance and training
