HEALTH & SAFETY CO-ORDINATOR - £35K - £40K - CROSSMAGLEN

A leading organisation in the Crushing and Screening industry is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Safety & Quality Coordinator to join their team. This is a key role for someone passionate about promoting a safe, compliant, and high-performing workplace.

Reporting to senior management, you will take ownership of both health & safety and quality systems, ensuring compliance, driving best practice, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting and reviewing risk assessments and implementing control measures.
  • Developing, implementing, and communicating health & safety and quality policies.
  • Delivering staff training (Manual Handling, Gantry, Abrasive Wheels, etc.).
  • Monitoring workplace practices, conducting inspections, and reporting findings.
  • Investigating incidents and non-conformities using root cause analysis.
  • Promoting a positive safety and quality culture across all levels of the organisation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experienced in a health & safety or quality-related role, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or a similar environment.
  • Knowledgeable in current health & safety legislation and compliance standards.
  • Skilled in delivering training and engaging with employees at all levels.
