About the role We have an opportunity for a Health & Safety Coordinator to be part of our Psychological Risk Unit, Safety & Risk Management Command, People & Capability Command. The Health & Safety Coordinator champions a positive safety culture across the NSWPF and provides advice in resolving WHS issues. It works closely with commands/business units to champion the implementation and understanding safety systems and programs relating to WHS. They proactively identify trends and issues and implement or contribute to strategies to improve WHS compliance and strength safety culture. The Health and Safety Coordinator in this role will support the NSWPF’s strategic approach to WHS, with a focus on psychosocial risk management. The coordinator will support commands/business units in managing psychosocial risks. This coordinator will also assist the Psychosocial Risk Unit with implementing governance processes, informing strategic initiatives, and providing technical advice to ensure psychosocial hazards are identified, assessed, and controlled in accordance with WHS legislation, regulations and organisational frameworks.
