This highly motivated team needs to be strengthened by a Health & Safety Engineer. Your role in more detail: As a Health & Safety Engineer, you will: Encourage activities that foster a culture of awareness and understanding of health and safety within the company Record results and send management reports on time Manage contractors and make sure they abide with applicable laws and other HS regulations Ensure that all staff receive appropriate HS training Identify legal and other requirements (such as ISO) and acknowledge all necessary steps for the Company's compliance Develop, implement and maintain H&S programs and policies to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations, including OSHA and other relevant agencies Develop and deliver H&S training programs for employees, contractors and visitors to promote awareness and ensure compliance with safety procedures Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, emerging H&S regulations, and technological advancements to continuously improve H&S programs and practices Prepare and submit regulatory reports, permits, and documentation as required by relevant authorities Serve as the primary point of contact for H&S inquiries, incidents and emergencies and coordinate response efforts as necessary Bachelor’s Degree in Εngineering field Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist) is a plus Excellent command in Greek and English language (written and spoken) Computer literacy (MS Office, Internet) Strong understanding of H&S regulations and other relevant standards Flexible thinker, being able to operate in a constantly changing environment Strong analytical and communications skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate H&S concepts to diverse audiences The opportunity to gain global experience and work with a highly motivated team A motivating and engaging work environment Continuous learning and career development opportunities Competitive compensation package Private life & health insurance
