HEALTH, SAFETY & COMPLIANCE

• Develop, implement and continuously review company HSEQ policies, procedures, and safe systems of work in line with current legislation and NASC guidance.
• Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act, Work at Height Regulations, TG20, SG4, CDM Regulations, and other relevant statutory requirements.
• Carry out proactive site safety audits, scaffold inspections and behavioural safety tours, producing written reports with clear corrective actions.
• Ensure all RAMS (risk assessments, method statements) are suitable, sufficient, and communicated effectively.
• Lead accident, incident and near-miss investigations, producing root cause analysis and driving lessons learned across the business.
• Maintain records of statutory inspections for scaffolds, lifting equipment, vehicles and PPE.
• Liaise directly with clients, principal contractors, auditors and regulatory bodies (HSE, local authorities) on compliance and safety matters.
