Responsibilities
  • Develops and coordinate the implementation of occupational health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Develops and champions cost-effective methods to achieve safety and environmental program goals.
  • Establishes and publishes meaningful measures and indices of safety and environmental performance within the organization.
  • Is responsible for and monitors the submission of all required reports and notifications to appropriate regulatory agencies.
  • Leads and motivates the activities of plant safety committees.
  • Identifies unsafe work practices and conditions and prioritizes corrective action for lead center management.
  • Implements regulatory requirements in the areas of occupational health and safety, environmental protection, sustainability, chemical safety and machine safety in the company in coordination with the department heads
  • Planning and conducting internal and external audits and training sessions
  • Supporting the organization in the implementation of requirements and collaboration or management.
  • Carrying out internal projects to improve safety standards
  • Cooperation with authorities and external service providers Coordinates with the FM HSE organization to align local practices with global standards and leverage shared resources and expertis
