Job Description Role Title: Health, Safety & Environment Manager Location: Warrington Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time Reports to: Head of Health & Safety As our Health & Safety Manager, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and embedding HS&E programmes that support a safe and secure working environment for our 600+ colleagues at our Warrington site. Sitting as part of the Site Leadership Team, this is a pivotal role for someone looking to make a tangible difference. You will champion our commitment to safety and care, providing expertise and guidance while influencing a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Core Responsibilities Lead initiatives that reduce health, safety, security, and environmental risks across the site Oversee and embed robust location management processes to maintain a safe and compliant workplace Drive continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance against agreed KPIs Manage and maintain effective HS&E policies, procedures, and systems aligned with legislation and internal standards Lead the incident management process, ensuring legal compliance including external authority reporting Manage and deliver audit programmes to assess and ensure compliance with legislation and Gousto policies Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, building effective relationships across levels Who You Are Experienced Health & Safety professional, ideally within FMCG, logistics, warehousing or D2C environments Hold recognised professional qualifications in Health, Safety and Environment (NEBOSH, IOSH or similar) Deep understanding of current UK HS&E legislation and regulatory expectations Track record of delivering impactful health and safety improvement initiatives A values-led leader who genuinely cares about colleague wellbeing Confident working both operationally and strategically, providing hands-on support and forward-thinking leadership Effective communicator across all levels and functions, capable of influencing change Comfortable acting as the sole HS&E specialist within a site leadership team Additional Information Benefits Click here to see our company benefits!
