Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a proactive and experienced HSE Officer to join our team and support our Technical Center and Medical University in maintaining a safe, healthy, and compliant environment for employees, students, visitors, and contractors.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify risks, implement preventive measures, and promote a strong safety culture.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs.
  • Conduct regular HSE inspections, risk assessments, and site audits.
  • Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare reports.
  • Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE awareness sessions.
  • Monitor contractors and service providers for compliance with HSE requirements.
  • Ensure appropriate use of PPE and adherence to safe working practices.
  • Support fire safety, emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, and emergency response.
  • Maintain HSE documentation, inspection records, incident reports, and corrective-action logs.
  • Monitor workplace and environmental safety standards.
  • Liaise with management and relevant stakeholders on HSE matters.
  • Recommend improvements to strengthen the organization's overall safety culture.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in HSE, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably in the UAE.
  • Experience in schools, universities, educational institutions, facilities management, healthcare, or corporate environments is preferred.
  • NEBOSH IGC certification is highly preferred.
  • IOSH certification is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE HSE requirements and workplace safety practices.
  • Experience in risk assessments, incident investigation, emergency procedures, and safety inspections.
  • Strong English communication and report-writing skills.
  • Proactive, organized, and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Non-Arabic candidates are preferred.
