Description
We are looking for a talented Health and Safety Assistant to join our team specializing in Health and Safety for our Cummins Inc. facility in York, SC   In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:  * Maintain accurate health, safety, and regulatory documentation to ensure compliance and support a safe, organized workplace.  * Provide timely and accurate data entry, reporting, and record management that enables informed decision-making and effective HSE program tracking.  * Support the reporting and documentation of workplace incidents, helping to identify trends and drive continuous safety improvements.  * Coordinate health and safety training programs while maintaining training records to ensure employees remain compliant and well-informed.  * Assist with audits, inspections, and safety reviews to proactively identify risks and help maintain a strong safety culture.  * Analyze and report HSE metrics and trends, providing valuable insights that support injury prevention and operational excellence.  * Promote employee engagement, health, safety, and wellness initiatives that strengthen an interdependent culture and increase safety awareness across the site.  * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality, safety, processes, and employee development while raising concerns that minimize cost, quality, and compliance risks.
