JOB DESCRIPTION:

As the Health Safety Environment & Training Technician, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating HSE&T activities including the administration of manufacturing, safety, security, and environmental systems. This position will also be responsible for the administration of our Operations training plans. You will be actively collaborating and involved in developing, implementing, maintaining, and reporting on robust HSE & T systems and processes, and driving continuous improvement.

• Responsible to administer the HSEMS onsite and assists in the implementation of the Site Safety Plan.

• Carry out continuous improvement activities as directed by the HSE&T Manager.

• Manage training programs in consultation with the Education and Training Lead to ensure that associates and contractors have the right skills and competencies to meet their HSE & T requirements.
• Ensure consistency in the application of safe working practices including but not limited to risk assessments, incident investigation and root cause analysis and hazard reporting and treatment.
• Responsible for the administration & implementation of Safety & Training projects as directed by the HSE & T Manager.
