Job Description We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced a motivated Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to join our team in Hamilton. Reporting to the HSQTE Divisional Manager this role is pivotal to educating and working with our site teams to ensure they have the necessary tools, information and knowledge to live by our 'Living Safely' philosophy. In addition to the above you will: Utilise your knowledge of the Fulton Hogan health and safety systems and processes to ensure compliance. Complete onsite audits ensuring compliance to our systems. Ensure consistency throughout all areas of the business. Support our teams through the identification of risks with a practical approach to onsite risk management. Encourage a strong reporting culture from all our people and sub-contractors Support a strong safety culture with a focus on ‘People at the Heart of everything’. We’re looking for someone with: Relevant Health and Safety Qualification and/or 5 years previous experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally within a similar multi hazard industry. Extensive knowledge of the relevant Health & Safety legislation and regulations including the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. The ability to listen and communicate effectively with people at all levels to understand what is required to empower them. The ability to translate Health and Safety legislation into everyday language to drive continual improvement. Previous experience carrying out onsite Health & Safety audits and incident investigations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
